the acting is kind of bad, I genuinely feel like my grade 12 drama class produced more believable and emotional acting. Like I don't even mean to be negative I'm just being so fr. When you're watching a movie you shouldn't be noticing and thinking about how this is clearly acting, you should be engaged in a story just playing out naturally.

Listen, no shade to this actress, but Whitney was damn near the most beautiful woman in the world with a perfect voice. This is the only example on film that I can think of that depicts a female raping a man. The man (Derek) is the victim of a female rapist Lisa. She drugged him put a drug in his drink the way that some men put drugs, roofies, sedatives, sleeping drugs or GHB in women's drinks that they leave unattended in nightclubs. She had her way with him while he was on whatever drug she poured in the drink. The morning after he should have immediately put two and two together and figured out what Lisa had done and reported her and pressed charges against her to the proper people/authorities for abuse or rape. We don't know in real life just how many times even if not too many times but at times it can happen that a man can be raped by a woman. This is not right and is a crime.

Just because she can act doesn't mean she would be good for the role. Naomi looks like Debra Wilson or Brandy - women with peculiar features which is so different from Whitney. It's just distracting.
